After many weeks of planning to ensure all COVID-19 protocols can be observed and our I(s) are dotted and Ts crossed, we believe we have the best possible model to ensure we have a safe cleanup event and continue our yearly tradition.
Our cleanup event for 2022 will have a different appearance to what most are accustomed to. This year’s cleanup will run for 1 week, beginning Sunday March 06th to Saturday March 12th.
REGISTRATION IS COMPULSORY!
Registration
1. Group registration will continue as has been done for previous beach clean-ups
HOWEVER, registration will be expanded to include the name, address and contact number of each individual, in each group.
2. Groups will be provided with a list of participation date and time slots to choose from to limit the number of participants on a given day.
Event Days
1. All interactive exhibits will be suspended for this year’s clean-up event.
2. All participants will be required to wear mask for the during of the clean-up event.
3. Hand sanitising stations will be placed at the entrance/exit of the beach.
4. All participants will have their temperature checked before proceeding to assigned clean-up zone.
5. Group size per clean-up zone will be restricted to a maximum of 10 persons.
6. Participants will be provided with single use gloves.
7. Washroom facilities will be sanitised after each user.
